I'll be going on a trip soon and wanted to give wireless charging a try. First impressions of the housing, it has a nice soft and silky feel to it. It doesn't seem to keep or show fingerprints/oil like other similar feeling material. It also doesn't seem to be a dust magnet like the rubber material on my Anker PowerCore II Slim. Overall it feels solid with soft edges that won't dig into your hands.

Moving on to the main reason why I bought this, wireless charging. I mean, off the bat, it works as described. Pop it on the phone and it starts charging. It does get a little warm but not uncomfortable to hold in my opinion. There are countless videos talking about specs and charging time so I won't delve further into that.

The second reason why I bought this was because I was interested in the stand feature. More importantly, using it as a stand without charging. There's one review on here that says if you press the button for 3 seconds, until the leds turn off, then put it on your phone, it'l stay off and you can use it purely as a stand. I tried counting in my head for 3 seconds, using a timer for 3 seconds, pressing the button until the leds turned off (more like 5 seconds), and I didn't get a reliable result. I think it stayed off twice but for the most part it would auto charge. There's also a response to a question on the product saying they called Anker support and Anker's response was that only the 633 could be turned off, not the 622. So this is kind of a bummer but the 633 or the Apple battery pack don't have built in stands but are double the price, which is why I just went with and will keep using the 622.
