I received an email from Amazon with the header < Amazon.com Subscription Ending Soon (Activate to Renew) > In the body of the email it says <Your subscription to AppleCare+ for iPad (9th generation) - Renews Monthly Until Cancelled renews on Oct 5, 2023 and has not been activated yet. This is a friendly reminder to activate your subscription through Your Memberships & Subscriptions. If you have not activated your subscription by Oct 5, 2023, then your subscription will terminate and will not renew. > There is nothing in Memberships and Subscriptions about "activate". I chased down all previous emails from Amazon regarding this item. Again, nothing about "activate". At the bottom of the email was <If you need further assistance, please contact Digital Software Customer Service>, which I did. The representative said that activating had to be done though Apple. I called Apple, their representative said that no activation was necessary, and everything was fine with my iPad's AppleCare+ account. All this wasted 45 minutes of my time. I plan to file a complaint with Amazon. I hope this helps someone else.
