Took this on vacation and it works nicely if your phone is running low on battery power and you need a temporary boost until you can get to an electrical outlet for a full charge. The problem with this charger is that it doesn’t last long without needing a charge itself. The cord from the battery to the wall outlet is so short that unless your outlet is close to a shelf, the actually battery has to hang from the wall outlet. I would like to add that this little gadget will work on an iPhone 8 as well
