This is a great tripod. I am not a camera person, but this really impressed me a lot!
First, everything fits into the included storage bag. The bag is roomy. It has a carrying/shoulder strap that is adjustable.
Second, the tripod itself is very sturdy when set up. It is made of aluminum and looks really nice. Weight is just over 3 pounds for the tripod alone, which is really nothing. The adjustments are solid and easy to do. Adjustable rubber feet are included, as is an extra base to mount a phone/tablet. There is also a Bluetooth remote that you can sync to your phone/tablet that allows you to stop/start recording and take still photos. A pretty cool addition, in my opinion.
Once set up, it is easy to operate. There is a built-in hook that allows you to add a bag with some weight to help keep the tripod from moving around much. I took the tripod outside and set it up. I pushed a tent stake into the ground directly underneath the hook. I then took a length of paracord and secured the tripod hook to the stake. It secured the tripod and made it as steady as a rock with the wind that was blowing.
It performed better than expected. Again, I am no photographer by any means. But, the price is amazing and this tripod is even more amazing in my book!
