I bought this product because I needed a little extra charge for when I go on trips, festivals, hiking, etc. It does work as advertised! The attachment to magsafe is very strong and I have no worries about it slipping or falling off. It’s a well made product.
HOWEVER, it does overheat quickly. At least for my iPhone, it will stop charging past 80% because of the heat this product produces. I didn’t find this to be an issue, since 80% is more than enough for me, but I would not expect this product to get me from 0% to 100% in one charge simply because the iPhone iOS overheat system stopping the charging. I should add that the “overheat” is not scalding or anything like that. It gets as warm as a cheap hand warmer from the convenience store. I have no worries that it would start a fire in my pocket nor will it scald my hands.
Regardless, I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to get from 5% battery to 80% in about an hour. Probably good for emergencies.
