Hi! There's another dev event and I felt the need to chat about it, I already posted most of this in a reply to another post, but it was more focused on one thing, This is a discussion of the entire event. Keep in mind that I have some colorful thoughts about "Moon Tycoon" saved for the end. You can use this information to know a little bit more about what you're getting into :)

The premise

Sure, Voltron, whatever, the junk looks kinda cool I guess, feels kinda weird that we've had two Voltron events now.

Flood Escape

It's not my cup of tea, and (Personally) I thought it was very difficult. Especially considering the secondary challenge (^{collecting the Black Chevron or whatever the heck these things are, I'm calling them chevrons now deal with it)} is hidden under the stairs in the bonus area, and only on Normal difficulty, which, again like many places with an event, occurs randomly, I do not appreciate it when the event is randomly on one of the dozen maps that can roll for the place hosting the event (Like the hide and seek one, where you basically had a 1/20 chance to even get a CHANCE at the event thing), another shortcoming is if you die, you have to stand around, dick in hand, and wait for a new round, which can in the moment, feel like the worst, possible, thing. Also this place has an annoying habit of bouncing you back if you jump when up against a wall, I think this is a bug with R15

All this being said, It's an OK place and not the worst challenge to do, the gun looks really nifty, the robot is stupid looking and I only got it because I want the wings.

TNT Rush

I actually kinda warmed up to this place, surprising myself, I like it! Let's be clear the implementation of the challenge however is SIMPLY TERRIBLE.

First off, We have the game, which is a kinda... Psuedo spleef from minecraft, you run around and the floor falls out under you and you try not to fall into the lava.

The challenge? Collect the four colored chevrons and fight a boss, simple? No. The colored chevrons are really rare, and can be really hard to get to, this could take hours. Also the boss fight, while it happens frequently, is horrible, why is it horrible? It spawns like, REALLY FREQUENTLY, and takes over ten minutes sometimes. You fight waves of enemies and the boss with weapons that do terrible damage, the enemy also does pathetic damage to you, and you get nothing for completing the boss fight if you don't already have the colored chevrons. If you don't have them all, you're going to have to come back later and do the fight AGAIN, you're better off leaving the game and joining another server if the game rolls the boss fight before you have them all.

The hat and the sword are kinda ugly IMO. The game, on it's own without the event is alright.

Moon tycoon

Alright, I've saved my most hated one for last, I saved all my swearing for it too.

FUCK MOON TYCOON, STOP USING IT FOR EVENTS ROBLOX FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Anyways, onto the game, it's another basic as fuck shitheap tycoon that probably came from a shitty template, and it's filled with microtransactions.

The objectives for the first challenge are:

-Go to a planet and capture a flag

-Go to the top of this mountain and get the thing

-Mine rocks to get another thing

FINISH THE GODDAMN TYCOON?!

Jesus Christ NO, I don't want to play this awful steaming pile of a game for any longer than I have to. do you know how long it takes to complete a tycoon style place? A long ass time, that's HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING.

Also, because it's a stupid terrible template tycoon, it gives everyone weapons, and allows some random OP gear for no reason, Such as the earth orb thing, and the one hit KO eagles, both of which are massively OP.

The other challenge is easy and pretty innocuous, but it's not as clear as it should be, you have to advance to the point where you have a spaceship, fly to the volcano, and place blocks to form a bridge, if you're clever you can do it with only 5 rocks if you make a jumping puzzle for yourself.

But seriously, Moon tycoon is OFFENSIVELY BAD, I COULD MAKE A BETTER PLACE FOR THE EVENT IN TEN MINUTES USING ONLY FREE MODELS AND A DOUGHNUT

Oh yeah, the prizes, Surprisingly this one has the best prizes, a cool jet-pack and a cool gun, but it wouldn't be moon tycoon if it didn't have something offensively bad about every POSSIBLE FUCKING ASPECT! It's fucked up so you don't get the blaster, it gives you the sword you're supposed to get from the TNT rush place, and the jetpack. The jetpack is ornamental which is just as well because as we all know, Gear is unsupported by about 95% of places. seriously stop giving this shitheel more Robux for slapping another event coat of paint on his stupid idiot tycoon clone. (Note though, You probably will be awarded the blaster at a later date as long as you have the badge) Oh yeah, It doesn't save your progress if you leave, saving your progress has only been a ROBLOX feature for oh I don't know, five years, I can't expect him to have implemented it already. The only statement I can make to it's credit is the man must be a master con artist to land these dev events, and you can turn off the god awful music loop in settings.

MOON TYCOON IS A TRAVESTY, I WISH TO REND THE FLESH OF ITS CREATOR, STOP GIVING THIS MAN MONEY

TNT Rush: Actually pretty good, Has the worst prizes though

Flood Escape: Passable, not something I'd ever play on my own outside of an event

Moon Tycoon: DEATH TO MOON TYCOON
