Pop is a free-to-air children’s television channel based in the United Kingdom, owned by Sony Pictures Television Networks. As of June 2014, it broadcasts cartoons, facts and game shows on Sky, Freesat, and Freeview. Its target audience is 4 to 17-year-olds. Recently ‘Pop’ started their operations in Pakistan under the banner of Edutainment (Pvt.) Ltd.

Syed Rameez Mukhtar is representing Edutainment (Pvt.) Ltd. and POP Pakistan as Chief Commercial Officer from 1st September 2018. The singer turned media marketer, Rameez Mukhtar is one of the top leading magical voices of Pakistan and was the lead singer of the pop band ‘Fuson’ for so many years. Then he changed his profession and totally switched to media marketing of TV channels.

Rameez Mukhtar exposed the unseen vocalist within himself at the age of nine while singing with music maestro, Sohail Rana in shows entitled “Saaray Dost Hamaray” and “Sung Sung Chalein.” Since then, he had been vocalizing varied melodic a lot of television serials and best-selling commercials.

Coming from Singing, Advertising and Media Industry, he has worked for KTN Group, OMD (The Manhattan International) and most recently at NewsOne TV. He is one of the most senior media strategist, creative, down to earth and soft spoken media professional for over 18 years of rich experience in Advertising, Singing and Media Sales / Marketing.

Rameez did his MBA in Marketing from London, UK and was a bright star during his studies.
