Critic Reviews for Master of None Season 2

All Critics (56) | Top Critics (22)

It's a hysterical, complex, gorgeous season of television, one that builds on what creators Aziz Ansari & Alan Yang accomplished in the first year in unexpected ways.

Shah's tender approach to everything from lasagna to courting could easily go down like a sugar overdose, but our hero is so earnest in his search for life's simple pleasures that you still want to kiss him on the forehead.

Master of None isn't here to propagate myths. It's striving to find truth. And what's uncovered in Season 2 is a lot like the life Ansari and Yang expertly recreate: surprising, enriching, and oh so divine.

The result is a show that is yes, beautiful, and often causes twinges of envy -- but one that is also curious, empathetic, and ultimately satisfying.

Audience Reviews for Master of None: Season 2

I had forgotten how fun this show was! I might even prefer this season over season 1. I loved Francesca, so I'm very happy they put her character in the show. I also loved the whole Italian storyline. Master of None saw the opportunity to do different things, different ways of filming, different storylines, etc. And they did amazing. This is the first show I watched that actually "dared" to do something like that and I wouldn't mind seeing it more often. Oh and that ending! I'm frustrated I need to know more, haha. Can't wait for next season.

It's nothing but love...

One of the best Netflix series ive seen in a while. Thought the first season was great but they really did a lot more different stuff here.

Season 2 is more brilliant than season 1. The way the story progresses, some background stories or characters, they all seem very natural, Which is to be expected since the show is based on the incidents from the cast's real lives. The emotional ride that the show takes us on may lead us (at least some) feeling empty, happy, sad; ALL at the same TIME. I've watched the show as if I'm one with the characters, and I'm completely broken down. I'd recommend the show any Day. <3

me encanto la serie yo casi no veo series pero no se porque esta me encanto. la recomiendo

comeback man. you the best.

Wow, i'm shocked. This is the best season in the whole TV history

For a comedy, it's not that funny. But it is a great show.

Between the unique characters and plot this was defiantly a show that you can't stop watching. I'm hoping the producers create another season as brilliant as this one.

Puntaje Original: 6.2 Otra temporada llena de diversión, con una historia un poco más nostálgica pero mantiene la esencia que vuelve a Master of None tan entrañable.
