More Critic Reviews for Fleabag Season 2 All Critics (74) | Top Critics (25) | Fresh (74) | Rotten (0) In an entertainment landscape that rarely grants women characters the range to be challenging, Fleabag's commitment to exploring the sisters' anxieties about (and slow progress toward) one another is a breath of fresh air. May 24, 2019 | Full Review… Hannah Giorgis The Atlantic Top Critic Fleabag Season 2, which I cannot recommend highly enough, is thrillingly deep, funny, and buoyant. May 16, 2019 | Full Review… Willa Paskin Slate Top Critic The first season was always meant to stand alone. That the second... is so successfully additive and so satisfyingly final in its conclusion, feels like a minor miracle. May 16, 2019 | Full Review… Sophie Gilbert The Atlantic Top Critic A portrait of grief, fear, and love that's startling, painful, achingly funny, unbearably sexy, pretty much perfect, and somehow better than the first season. It is a marvel. It should not exist. May 16, 2019 | Full Review… Allison Shoemaker RogerEbert.com Top Critic Season 2 is a towering accomplishment, proving what many have suspected since her debut: Waller-Bridge is operating on a higher plane, and she's kind enough to take the audience along with her. May 7, 2019 | Rating: A | Full Review… Ben Travers indieWire Top Critic My relationship with Fleabag continues to be intense. I adore its star, who looks like a portrait by Meredith Frampton come to life, and I can never get over its emotional precision. [Full review in Spanish] Jun 14, 2019 | Full Review… Daniel Krauze El Financiero Creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a genius who has added sharp wit and dark humour in a style we've never seen before Jun 11, 2019 | Full Review… Sara Wallis Daily Mirror (UK) The tension between actor and audience reaches a limit point in the final chapter. The show must end. The break closes the series in a moving way. What a rollercoaster. I spent the first half of the season laughing outrageously hard and the second half fighting off tears. Fleabag, you've charmed me. I'm ready for round 3! Clare M One of Best these shows on tv and season 2 holds just as high as first. Only downside is no season 3 Ben C Never ending monologues, stupid humor. Amazon prime is producing one flop after another one Cornel V Season one was a perfect binge but left you wondering what they'd do for an encore. Well, the encore is amazing. Funny, heartbreaking and unexpectedly moving. Not to be missed. One of the best things ever made for television. David H Near perfect television. Patrick T This was a wonderful ride that I didn't want to end... and I got my wish. There is no ending. The series just stops, with our heroine disappearing around the corner with nary a word. It's a frustrating halt to what was otherwise must-see television. Thomas J Witty and entertaining Magat A Dark, witty, poignant, as well as breath-taking hilarious, Fleabag soars into its second season and shows no sign of stopping; anchored by Waller-Bridge's scene-stealing performance. Nick B Excellent session, better than the first. The ending had me a bit worried they are not making another and this will be the last. Kelly M I binge watched this over a week period or probably less. There are aspects of sisterhood that are captured here better than anything I've ever seen and I have four sisters! The funny is gut splitting. Jacquie K View All News & Features 150 Erotic Movies Ranked worst to best! 2019's Most Anticipated 63 movies coming up this year 200 Essential Movies Chosen by RT staff!
