Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany isn’t as well known as the competition she bested for lead actress in a drama honors including Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson.

But trust us, the “Orphan Black” star is so good, Hollywood should clone her.

Remember the hard-to-spell name, because the actress, who turns 31 on Wednesday, has a bright future even after her BBC America series ends after the upcoming season. Here are five things to know about the Canadian starlet:

*Maslany’s first love is improv — a calling she pursued since she was a high school student in Regina, Saskatchewan. In fact, she knew she was making it in showbusiness when she met one of her idols doing an arc on “Parks and Recreation.”

“Amy Poehler has been my hero for so many years, to even be on her radar, that she knows my name, will forever blow my mind,” Maslany told the Daily News last year.

*That improv background helps her play a number of clones that look similar but have vastly different personalities on “Orphan Black.”

It’s a lot of work because it requires multiple takes with stand-ins, shooting the scene as one clone, then returning to the makeup trailer to prepare to reshoot the scene as another clone.

They’re starring together in the upcoming drama, “The Other Half,” in which the actress plays a painter with bipolar disorder.

*Her first major movie role as a teen was the 2004 horror sequel, “Ginger Snaps : Unleashed” as a strange teen trying to tame a werewolf. But her real breakthrough came six years later, with a starring role in the Sundance darling, “Grown Up Movie Star.”

*Maslany told the News that she could deliver her lines fluently in German in last year’s “The Woman in Gold” because she grew up listening to her grandparents speak the language.
