F Is For Family co-creator Bill Burr got the word out today on Twitter that the series will premiere December 18 on Netflix. We’re also getting a peek at the six-episode toon from Burr and The Simpsons‘ Michael Price, who also showruns.
F Is For Family follows the Murphy family in the 1970s, a time when you could smack your kid, smoke inside and bring a gun to the airport. Burr will voice the role of Frank Murphy, the family’s extreme patriarch; Laura Dern is Frank’s wife Sue; and Justin Long is the family’s oldest son, Kevin. Burr and Price executive produce with Vince Vaughn. Michael Lagnese and Victoria Vaughn, from Wild West Television, are co-executive producers.
Can’t wait for this. Burr is hilarious. Counting the days until Decembaaaaah.
Sounds like the same premise that was used over forty years ago for ” Wait ‘Til Your Father Gets Home.”
