LFL RETURNS TO NATIONAL TELEVISION on FUSE IN HD

(LOS ANGELES, CA – Tues., April 7, 2015)

One of sports’ fastest growing franchises and football’s most unapologetic, raw and fast-paced league, the Legends Football League (LFL), returns to national television in high-definition on Fuse. The season kickoff for LFLonFuse is Saturday, April 18, 9p / 8c.

Since debuting in 2009, the LFL has drawn record television ratings with MyNetwork TV, MTV Networks and now Fuse has acquired the exclusive United States broadcast rights to the LFL. Internationally the LFL has been broadcast to nearly 195 television territories across major broadcast platforms such as Sky Sport, Ten Sports, WOWOW, Televisa, Sport TV, Setanta Sports, ESPN International and others.

“This is a key acquisition for Fuse as we continue to roll out programming that extends beyond music and resonates with our core audience of New Young Americans as well as the established LFL fan base,” said Bill Hilary, President Fuse Media, Inc. “LFL is primed to become the next major sports and entertainment franchise on television and we are excited to build on this momentum and bring these athletes, games and compelling stories to the network.”

This agreement that awards Fuse the exclusive rights to broadcast LFL games in the US, follows last week’s announcement of Oxygen Media acquiring the LFL’s reality series rights.

“Today is perhaps one of the most important days in league history, as we believe we have found the platform and partner in Fuse that understands the uniqueness and potential of our sport on television. We look forward to bringing our Fuse viewers into the game, locker-rooms and behind the scenes unlike any other broadcast in sports”, said Mitchell Mortaza, Managing Partner, Legends Football League, LLC.

Fuse will broadcast the entire LFL USA 2015 season in primetime which includes (18) eighteen regular season games, (2) two conference Playoff games as well as the Legends Cup championship game.
