Crazy Town Flutters To No. 1

Hip-hop influenced California rock act Crazy Town floats to the top of The Billboard Hot 100 with "Butterfly," ending the four-week reign at No. 1 for Joe's "Stutter" featuring Mystikal. "Butterfly" has been steadily climbing since its debut 12 weeks ago. The single is also this week's fastest-growing track at retail.

Last week's top debut, Janet Jackson's "All For You" -- which was also the highest debut of any single on the chart in two years -- shoots up nine slots to No. 6, while Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me" featuring Ricardo "Rikrok" Ducent slips eight rungs to No. 15.

The new Destiny's Child hit "Survivor," which continues to rise in anticipation of the group's forthcoming album on Columbia, is this week's fastest-growing track at radio, bolting from 43-17. The week's top debut is Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott's "Get Your Freak On," which arrives at No. 65. The single has been steadily moving on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, where it reaches No. 18 this week. Elliott's new Elektra album is due May 15.

As reported yesterday, Dave Matthews Band's "Everyday" (RCA) experienced a sales decrease of 61%, yet managed to hang on to the No. 1 position, warding off Aerosmith's "Just Push Play," which opened at No. 2. Eve's "Scorpion" (Ruff Ryders) was this week's other high debut at No. 4.

On Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, "Scorpion" bows at No. 1, knocking DJ Clue's "The Professional 2" back to No. 2. Over on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, 112's "It's Over Now" makes it a second week at No. 1.

The soundtrack to the Coen Brothers' "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (Mercury) continues to shine at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The soundtrack has held the position for five weeks, and has fought back threats from the "Coyote Ugly" soundtrack (Curb), and Jessica Andrews' "Who I Am" (DreamWorks). Pat Tillis' "Thunder & Roses" (Arista Nashville) debuts at No. 24.

On Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, Toby Keith's "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This" makes it three weeks at No. 1, with its last competition coming from Tim McGraw, whose "Grown Men Don't Cry" makes a stand at No. 30.

Over on the rock side, Incubus' "Drive" coasts into a fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, while "Outside," featuring Staind's Aaron Lewis and Fred Durst, holds for a second week at No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Tracks.
