New Jersey
The State of New Jersey offers a rich history of culture, diversity, industry, education, entertainment, and natural resources, from the mountains of the Northwest to the white sandy beaches of the Jersey shore. As a crossroads of commerce and with a population of over eight million people, New Jersey is home to more scientists and engineers per square mile than anywhere else in the world and as the 'Garden State' it produces over 100 different kinds of fruits and vegetables in its $82 billion food and Agriculture complex. With more Revolutionary battlefields than any other state in the nation, New Jersey was the third State to sign the Constitution, the first State to ratify the Bill of Rights, and is the birthplace of many modern inventions such as the light bulb and electric trains, as well as home to the first officially recorded baseball game in history.
