The party features entertainment, like Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade; trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom; and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. Lots of characters are out in the park wearing their favorite costumes, and you can wear yours, too!

Disney & Halloween are the perfect pair

Partygoers can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4PM when it’s their turn to get spooky — but the party doesn’t officially kick off with all the snacks, entertainment, and more until 7PM. And, that means people will already be in the park waiting to experience the most exciting parts of this special event.

So, what are the most popular things you might want to rope drop at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? We’re so glad you asked!

Characters

You’ll find so many characters at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, including some incredibly rare ones! In past years, we’ve seen some pretty significant lines for the more popular characters like Jack and Sally…

…the Red Queen and Tweedles!

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum!

If meeting any of these characters is important to you, you might want to consider heading to those meet-and-greets first. They’ll be listed on the party map along with their locations!

Merchandise

Don’t worry, there will be plenty of party-exclusive souvenirs to shop at the event — but you might have to wait for it! Merch can be pretty popular and that means there may be long lines to check out or some serious crowds inside the shops. We typically find party merch at the Emporium, but you’ll find it in plenty of places!

In addition to exclusive party souvenirs inside the merch stores, you might find some at a popcorn cart or two. There are often special popcorn buckets only available to partygoers, and depending on how popular they are — they can garner quite a line. If you want to get your hands on this year’s exclusive popcorn bucket, you might consider rope-dropping a popcorn cart and getting that first.

Trick-or-Treat Stations

Some of the best parts of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are the free treats you can get at the trick-or-treat locations stationed around Magic Kingdom. With all the excitement, though, these lines tend to be a little long at times!

Trick or treat location

If you’ve got a kiddo who is eager to grab that first treat, it might be a good idea to be close to a trick-or-treat location when the party officially kicks off to get those goods. And, don’t forget there are special, allergy-friendly treat locations as well.

Specialty Food

It wouldn’t be a Disney World party without special eats and treats throughout the night! While we haven’t seen the official menus for this year’s event just yet, our mouths are already watering thinking of the exclusive food and drinks we’ll get to try — but we won’t be the only ones.
