      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

What The End of the F***ing World's second season lacks in urgency it makes up for in character development, diving deep into the darkest creases of the leading pair's memories to emerge a darkly funny meditation on love and trauma.

Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe It has the same gonzo tone and darkly funny writing. Nov 22, 2019 Full Review Hugo Rifkind Times (UK) Altogether, it oozes "not for everyone"; although despite that, I think it might be. Nov 8, 2019 Full Review Alan Sepinwall Rolling Stone The new episodes share many of the original batch's most effective elements -- strong performances, deft retro soundtrack choices (leaning more on folk this time), a blend of humor and pathos -- without ever finding a reason to exist. Rated: 3/5 Nov 6, 2019 Full Review Charles Hartford But Why Tho? A Geek Community When I rate media I ask myself how well does this program succeed at doing what it set out to do. Looked at in that light I feel The End of The Fu***ing World season two is a near flawless masterpiece. Rated: 10/10 Jan 22, 2023 Full Review Alex Diedrick Uproxx It's bleakly funny but things take a more serious turn in season two, when Alyssa is left managing the aftermath of the pair's crime spree and a new psychopath enters the mix. Nov 11, 2021 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut The End of the ****ing World season 2 predictably doesn't have the same manic energy or sense of revelation as the first go-around, but it retains the pitch-black nihilism and expert situational humor - it might even be funnier Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 3, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Benjamin H With impressive thematic depth, solid performances and a resplendent development of the central characters and the situation they find themselves in, season 2 of TEOTFW still suffers from the same structural and dialogue issues that plagued some of season 1 while also being slightly more uneven. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/21/24 Full Review Onel S La serie es muy buena, pero al final James nunca le confesó Alissa que en un principio pesaba en matarla... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/24 Full Review Mohammad F It had a very predictable ending Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Dylan S I finished it in one night, now I'm watching it for the 3th time, I have fallen in love with this tv show Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review Thomas G I am glad they decided to not over do it and wrapped the series up after two seasons. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Silke A Season 2 was great as well, but I prefer season 1. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
