Brian Moylan New York Magazine/Vulture Sure, the episode was mostly catch-up, but the way it handled mothers was actually quite interesting, showing us how they can both mess their children up and be a redemptive force in their lives. Rated: 3/5 May 24, 2019 Full Review Kelly Lawler USA Today While some things might look good on the outside for our ladies, the cracks are definitely showing. Oct 28, 2015 Full Review Amy Amatangelo Paste Magazine The third season premiere of Orange is the New Black confirmed every parent's worst fear: if your child ends up in prison or on drugs, it's all the mother's fault. Rated: 8.5/10 Oct 28, 2015 Full Review Randy Dankievitch TV Over Mind [A] heartwarming return to the poetic purgatory of Litchfield. Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Chris Hansell Cultured Vultures In the current golden age of television, OITNB hangs easily with the very best shows around. There aren't enough TV dramas that focus so much on female experiences. Even rarer is the show that allows its women to be screw ups. Oct 3, 2019 Full Review Alec Bojalad Den of Geek Season three of Orange is the New Black is just very, very good. Rated: 4.5/5 May 24, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Toms c Really enjoyed the third series. The writing is excellent and that drives the performances. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/11/23 Full Review Pio T This season is really bad. I hope they finally get rid of Laura P. - I can't stand her fake eyebrows Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/31/22 Full Review Audience Member Thought the first 2 series were good, some great characters, but series 3 seemed to have lost the plot, I know thus is a female prison, but all the lesbian sex detracts from the story lines, its almost like the writer or producer has some sort of fetish for this. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Orange Is The New Black routinely pays homage to its form, by referencing books throughout the entire Netflix original series. After the first season, the show heavily diverges from the truth of the memoir it was based on, though the show still makes an effort to honor books by including them in the characters lives. Not only do inmates rely on story to get through their incarceration, but their incarceration becomes a story (ie. Orange Is The New Black: A Memoir by Piper Kerman). OITNB may weave a tall tale, but a tale that is rooted in truth. Although the lives of Chapman and the other inmates depicted on the show are fictitious, they are based on real people in true situations. The show brings to light real issues that exist within the prison system, and educates us while entertaining us. Image result for oitnb standing on tables the animals The show dramatizes and exaggerates the realities of prison riots, and idealizes an outcome that could benefit the entire prison system. By grouping all of the worst-case scenarios in a Murphys-Law sort of way, the show educates people about prison life, laws, and serves as a sort of guide on How-To avoid prison. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review waleed a still skipping some scenes and watching fast mostly, but the story is good and i love stella (1 viewing) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Orange Is The New Black Season 3 brings the witty humour and loveable characters that some of today's comedy shows lack with amazing performances from Dascha Polanco To Laura Prepon and the list goes on Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
