1.0 out of 5 starsVery poor design w/ several flaws - Even if you have a table big enough, it still might not work.

I have a Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 that I do love. I'm a big guy, and an electrical engineering student. I wanted something that I could spread out and do huge problems on and see it all on top of the art and designing that I do for fun/work. Also I am exhausted with dealing with the Surface Book and other poor drawing tablets (on top of their small sizes). Now I have something that I can carry on with me through future computers hopefully and don't have to pay more for tablet hybrid computers.
I was hoping to use this mount to add some versatility to work flow and allow me to use it as a sweet monitor set up when not using it for drawing/work. 1st off, my work desk is about 5ft x 3ft (Width x Depth), it's plenty big enough to be able to support this. I put it on once I put any weight on the arm the thing started to lift off it's back edge (of the part viced to the table). Being an engineer, of course I wasted hours trying various ways to make this work. I brought in various pieces of wood and other clamps I had and tried just about everything. I couldn't figure out why no matter what I did it still lifted off/wanted to slide forward. That's when I found the problem.
Major Flaw: the adhesive that is used to secure a cheap flimsy protective rubber layer (that is meant to protect the table) from the metal of the mount). You are only as strong as your weakest link, and in this case, it's the adhesive and the thin rubber. You can see in the 2 attached images where it failed. This is only with about an hour or 2 worth the use. As I was rocking it trying to figure out what is actually causing the lift off/bending, the adhesive failed more and more and the this rubber started to tear and fail. It also left some nice nasty scratches in my table, so if you're planning on still buying this and using this on a table you care about, I would take extra measures. Because it's the actual adhesive that's failing and pulling the rubber back, there is no table that is going to prevent this from happening.
Conclusion: absolutely not worth the money no way no how. Again the pictures you see are of about an hour or 2 of fiddling around. If you want to mount it, get the vesa mount adapter and buy a better mounting system that will probably cost a fraction of this. You have already forked out a fortune for your Wacom, don't spend more on this junk....
Better yet, find a cheap standing table. I found the one you see in the picture at a thrift store for like $30 and it even folds up if I wanted to store it. It feels really cheap so I am guessing there are cheap options out there for a new one. This gives you full support and you can throw some non-slip pads or drill in a piece of wood or something to stop it form sliding off the front and angle it at most any angle you'll want.
