How many times this power bank will charge my iPhone when fully recharged ?

To estimate charges,use this formula:

(Power Bank Capacity × 0.66) ÷ Device Battery Capacity.

For example, an iPhone 15 with a 3,349mAh battery can receive about 0.88 charges from a 4,500mAh power bank (calculated as (4,500mAh × 0.66) ÷ 3,349mAh).

Getting hot when charing, is it normal ?

Why does the device become hot when used ?

I've had the iWalk portable charger for my old iPhone for a couple years. It's great. I keep it in my purse/backpack charged. As the phone battery gets low, I put it on my phone, put it back in my purse/bag and all was good to go when I need it. Charged up.

This USB-C version is not the same.

It's like they retrofitted all the old ones with the USB-C port instead of actually designing one to work with USB-C. It got MUCH warmer - like I could feel the heat on my hip from inside my leather purse. Both the battery and phone heat up quite a bit.

Second, the connection to the phone is not as secure as the old lightening version. I found myself keeping a hand under it to make sure it wouldn't fall out. Had never been a worry with the other version.

But it charged the phone and then recharged ok.

Then the second time I used it, I went to get it from my purse and found the silver part of the port broken off in my phone and the charger like the photos.

I've had my old iWalk charger in my purse, charging my phone the same way for years.

So yeah, find a different one for USB-C use. This one feels not ready for prime time.
