**Roborock does do frequent updates. I suspect many of these will be fixed eventually
I bought this at full price, I did not get this for free. Overall, it's decent but needs work.
Notable issues I've found:
- Flexibrush rarely works, if ever. This is seen in Roborock's own promotional video.
- When it's vacuuming in a dark area, it turns on a front 'fill light' that is very, very bright. This makes sleeping difficult. You can turn it off but that greatly reduces its ability to avoid things.
- Take pictures of your pet? Why would I use a camera that takes blurry 240p pictures? Video is equally poor.
- Thresholds, even small ones, are often a problem.
- If you use an individual room clean or 'Pin and Go', if it fails once or twice, it will never try again, it won't move and say "can't reach target point."
- Noticeably taller than other Roborocks which hinders it from going under shorter furniture.
- Sometimes completely rams into things (I've seen this with different colored table legs several times).
- The lens you need to clean on the vacuum scratch very easily.
- If it's drying the mop and you set it to vacuum or go somewhere, when it comes back, it'll forget it was drying the mop and leave it wet.
- Voice commands are often awkward. "Hey Rocky, vacuum the dining room." It will then wash the mop and go vacuum--but I told it to vacuum, not do a complete clean, so why is it washing the mop if it's not going to use it?
4.0 out of 5 stars
Needs improvement but pretty good
