I have no clue where all of these claims of this dock not working with M1 macs are coming from!?! I'll give the benefit of doubt that I can only speak for my machine however (2021 M1 Pro 14" Macbook). The read/write speeds, ethernet, and everything else works just fine! ONLY gripe I think that causes people to think it does not work with macs are the two HDMI ports. If you use both, it will only be a mirrored image, HOWEVER, if you use one hdmi cable, and the other display to a thunderbolt, it works! I have no clue why Anker is losing out on so many apple customers saying it's not compatible. It has had a steady connection and charges consistently the entire time!
