This ain’t it folks. Well, at least for me it isn’t. While I do like’em thicc, thicc is a little too heavy for some MagSafe cases. In my experience, Otterbox symmetry, Torras thin and thic cases were good with this pack. However, the Speck clear MagSafe case was the worse. The battery wouldn’t stay put as well as it did with the other cases. Especially, when you’re holding it one handed with your finger under the kickstand. If you have a pro max or other large phone similar in size, pockets are more than likely out of the question. Pack wouldn’t stay in place when wearing jeans. On the other hand, the pack and phone dang near hit the twig and giggle berries while wearing gym shorts, with all that “swangin” goin on down there! After about the first 15 minutes of charging, you get a good boost but did notice heat as time went on, as well as a decrease in efficiency. The heat got the point where it throttled back charge speed. My case and phone were pretty hot, I took my case off. I mean, hey, folks up north, you’ve got a $90 hand warmer lol. These so far were my first and second strikes.

The third was the recharge of the battery pack. How are you gonna release three prime power banks in three different sizes, the largest which is 27k mah, can charge fully in about 35-40 minutes with a 140 watt charger… but 10k mah maggo qi2, recharges at BEST, TWO HOURS from 0 to 100. Using the same Apple 140w charger and usbc cable provided by Anker. Back in the day, I’d buy bottom shelf alcohol because it was cheap. Now I buy it based taste. Taking this same principle in electronics purchases. Not gonna buy anything from Anker just cause they were limpin to the barn first with some new product. I’ll wait until all the kinks have been worked before another high dollar purchase from Anker.
