Is this charging pad compatible with Android phones?

Not compatible with Android. The charging pad is designed for devices with magnetic wireless charging, available only in iPhone 12 and later models. For optimal Qi2 15W charging, the device must be an iPhone 13 or newer, running on iOS 17.2 or later.

Can a phone case affect wireless charging?

For the best wireless charging experience, we recommend using Apple's official magnetic phone cases. You should avoid cases thicker than 2.5 mm and non-magnetic cases, as they may affect charging efficiency.

Why doesn't my iPhone show the charging circle when using magnetic charging?

Firstly, verify if your iPhone is a model from the 13/14/15 series, as only these models support magnetic charging. Next, ensure that your phone's operating system is updated to iOS 17.2, as this is necessary for the feature to function properly.

Anker is my go to brand for affordable, good quality charging solutions. I've never had an issue with any of them. As others have said, the charging "puck" gets pretty warm but doesn't heat my phone up much so I'm not worried about it. I have a Google Pixel 8 with an Oh Snap Grip 4.0 that allows for MagSafe products to work with it. Some MagSafe products don't work if the case is too thick, but I have not had any issues with that happening. I have both a case and the Oh Snap Grip attached and it has worked perfectly fine.

Out of all the wireless chargers I use, this thing gets pretty hot. It works well, it charges well, product is well built but it just gets too hot for me. And granted, it's not the phone getting hot super hot, it's the product - so it's probably doing its job well but it definitely gets very warm for me. Magnet strength is excellent.

Bought two, one for myself and one for the wife. Other reviewers are not kidding when they say this thing gets hot. I’m not talking about uncomfortable heat, I’m saying it gets so hot that it can cause burns. My wife was worried about it burning her night stand, and honestly, at the full 15 watt power I’m not convinced it couldn’t start a fire under the wrong circumstances. Aluminum was NOT the right choice for the back of this device, should have been plastic or silicone.

Otherwise, the magnets are decently strong and it charges our phones quickly. Will not be returning, just can’t hold phone while charging which kinda defeats the purpose of this style of wireless charger so 3 stars it is.

Anker always makes quality products so when I decided I wanted to get a Qi2 MagSafe compatible charger, this one caught my eye. I've been very happy with it. I was concerned that it was 'rounded' on the back, as opposed to flat like the Apple version, but the rounded part still allows it to sit flat and not rock back and forth if it's laying flat on a surface. The charging speed is excellent and it doesn't get too hot. I highly recommend... it's a great value and a great product!

Works Great! Currently us this for my Samsung s23 Ultra and the only issue that I've had is it tends to get pretty hot when using your device. Other than that, its been nice to have. Magnets are strong and it never falls off. Moderate charging speed too (though this ultimately depends on your power brick.)

TL;DR Strong magnets, good charging speed, and a great hand warmer all in one!

Works great, exactly like the Apple-branded does. On my 12pro, it does heat up the phone a little, and as it heats up you can tell the charging speed drops off quite a bit.

A cable definitely is faster, but for my use (phone's port broke) this is a great work around. I'll be using it nightly for my next phone to try and have less cycles on the port.

One thing to keep in mind, this needs a PowerDelivery USB-C to work, 15 or 20watt is better, but I like the 10 watt one as it doesn't heat up as much, which is better on the battery for overnight slow charging
