This was main bday present for my 11yr old Son. He loves it. Very sturdy, layer of carbon fiber. Nice solid metal legs/support beam. Cut outs fro cabling. Nice little head phone holder (always irritating to me to see his headphones on his chair - GT Racing chair btw - matching set now). Besides a short angled support under the desk it is all open so plenty of leg room. One of the best things is the mouse pad that covers the entire surface - of course removable so can clean it as needed or if you simply don't want it on and would rather enjoy the carbon fiber surface.

The only things I would have liked added to this would be 1 - a drink holder to attach to the opposite leg - I did purchase a seperate clamp on one, 2 - then maybe a small race way on back underside for the cabling to route in, and 3 - mechanism to attach power strip to the bottom side as well, was thinking either slideable clamps or multiple thin elastic type bands to hold the power strip in place.

I decided to purchase and recently received the desk. Installing this desk is extremely easy and does not take long at all. This desk is EXTREMELY sturdy. I truly can't believe this desk ever receiving a rating lower than 5. The only reason for this review, is to show that this desk is great purchase and if you are hesitant about purchasing it, DON'T be. Your getting a very great built desk with a great large mouse pad. Since the desk was more than I imagined, I just purchased the Gtracing gaming chair to go with it. Thanks Gtracing for a great product. A+++++++++++

Setting up the desk was fairly simple, I did it alone with little to no problems, I don't recommend doing this though because you can easily drop parts while having to hold them in place to tighten them. My only complaint really is just how weak the top plates are, they look nice however I already have a slight pushed-in spot from a cup that fell over and onto the desk. Really? A cup? You get what you pay for here, it's a strong desk that is sure not to wobble if you tighten it correctly, as well as leaving you with a LOT of foot room. I'm 6'1 with long legs, so I definitely enjoy this aspect! I really love the room as well, 55" may seem small to those needing a new desk, but I can fit 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, Nintendo switch AND its case and controllers, 2 speakers, and multiple figures with still plenty of room; I ran out of things to put on the desk faster than space on it.

Great purchase for those not willing to spend $200+ on a gaming desk!

I'm using this desk for my 50 Inch TV and laptop/Xbox series X and I will say it was a little tough to assemble but once it was said and done it was extremally sturdy and durable. I could probably sit on it and it would not move. Though I would not recommend doing that. All in all its a great desk for the price I paid and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a very good desk for gaming.

Replaced an old wooden desk the only thing it was missing was a keyboard tray. I did buy the matching chair with the speakers in the headrest. I really like the desktop mousepad which covers the whole desk. Make sure you have a hex key bit for your drill, using the Allen wrench is painful.

Overall a great value they even give you spare screws unlike Ikea.

Instructions for setting up the desk are super simple except for 1 step. Desk is super sturdy and doesnt shake or make any noises when gaming. I have my 2 monitors and my PC on the desk and i still have plenty of space for my keyboard and mouse. Recommend using a monitor arm for maximun space. Might purchase another later.
