I have a cracked screen on my beautiful Asus laptop - I submitted a claim and sent off to Asurian repair center as instructed in the container and completed form which they provided. A few days later receive text that said my repairs were complete and had been shipped back to me. YAY!!! Couldn't wait - however when I opened the box there was a big sticker letting me know repairs had been DENIED - they had used the term in my text / email "repairs complete" - no explanatory texts, no emails, no phone calls to explain their logic - this is the first UNACCEPTABLE and UNSATISFACTORY. After half hour or more on the chat window turns out they couldn't find the matching serial number so who knows - they claimed the sticker on the laptop had been removed. Sorta like accusing me of fraud, but didn't come out and say it (YET). We talked and talked - very polite young lady so no complaints there. Finally opened a second claim and this time asked for the correct serial number as well as a picture of the label with serial number from the original shipping container for my laptop from amazon which I provided along with the unit when I returned it to Asurion repair center. So today I get an email that 'Congratulations, your repairs are complete and unit is on it's way" or something like that. Well - seems that is being returned again, DENIED, again with NO attempt a communicatio - second UNACCEPTABLE and UNSATISFACTORY. This time I was practically accused of removing the serial number label. They repaired a USB charging port a while back, and since they were able to find the serial number then I have to throw this back on them. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THEY REMOVED THE SERIAL NUMBER THEN - so that they could deny fixing anything else. This is my third UNACCEPTABLE and UNSATISFACTORY along with my ACCUSATION that they removed my serial number label for the reason I mentioned above - to be able to deny coverage - after all it was there for my first claim for the USB port issue or it would have been denied as well. I fell very confident in my accusation - and mine is logical and irrefutable. I am offficailly asking Jeff Bezos personally for one - ACTION, and two for Amazon to provide alternative purchase protection choices other than Asurion.
