It takes manyy hours to fully charge, which is very frustrating and inconvenient if you need to use it last minute. But if you remember to keep it charged I’d highly recommend. It charges my phone very quickly even if I’m using my phone the whole time. You get a ton of charges out of it as well. I will say I have since gotten a couple of other chargers that take way less time to charge and are just as good as far as the amount of charges you get, but not quite as fast.

I used this while traveling in Spain.
The good:

1. It does actually charge your phone. Best luck I've had with a portable charger in this price range.

2. It seems to hold a charge for a while. I used it 2 or 3 times and it didn't run out of battery. I did charge it after that since I wanted it to be fully charged for my last day in Spain so I'm not sure how many more times it would have charged my phone.

The not as good:
1. It is heavier and bulky. It did fit in my small purse but barely, and then there was no room for my phone. I did keep it in my big coat pocket a couple of days that I was gone from my hotel the entire day and a good chunk of the night. It worked, but it weighed my pocket down.

2. It charges kind of slow but it gets the job done faster than any other charger I've had. It charges slower if you use your phone while it's charging. If you don't bother it, it should charge in a couple hours or so depending on how low your battery is.

Overall, worth the money and I'm glad I purchased it. I plan to use this for future travel and on float trips when I don't have electricity!
