Works as expected, sometimes you have to unplug everything
UPDATE: After about 3 weeks, one of the HDMI ports appeared to fail and other ports started behaving inconsistently. I needed to unplug everything from the docking station and plug things back in one-by-one, but that seems to have solved the problem at least for now. I've downgraded from 5 stars to 4.This docking station takes up two Thunderbolt/USB-C 3 ports on my Macbook Pro (M1), but it's worth it, as I don't need to plug anything else directly into the laptop, not even power!. With my previous USB-C hub, I had to plug one monitor directly into the HDMI port on the laptop, but with this one, both HDMI monitors came up immediately.I have plugged a USB-C power supply from an old Chromebook into the USB-C port of this hub, and it supplies power to the macbook. This means I can keep my magsafe brick in my laptop bag and I never leave home without it. That alone is worth the price of this unit assuming you have a spare USB-C power supply.One drawback is that there's only one USB-C port (along with 3 USB-A) on this hub yet it takes up 2 USB-C / Thunderbird ports on the laptop. This means I can't easily use a separate USB-A to USB-C hub to expand this hub, which is an issue because my mouse, keyboard, camera, and headset all use the older USB-A standard. Luckily I have an older cheap USB-A hub which, combined with the 3 USB-A slots on the hub mean I have plenty of room. Without this older hub it would be a problem, but if you use bluetooth a lot anyway you may be fine.Caveat: I haven't tried every combination of ports (e.g. I haven't tried plugging in a microSD card while both HDMI ports are in use), so it is possible some combinations cause problems.I have updated this review once after about 3 weeks of use. I will update again if anything changes.

I was using this docking station for about 1 year. It was working fine until one day it suddenly stopped working. All ports are down, I'm an engineer, I did all kinds of A/B testing and trial. I know it's broken for sure. And It's still within the warranty so I reached out to the seller and the customer service was absolutely awful.

I clearly described the issue, attached the photo, and followed whatever instruction they asked me to try.
After lots of back and forth, I started to realize they never really try to resolve the problem but just try to hold you off.

They started with blaming the software update, then asked you to try a bunch of nonsense. They even lied about their product and see attached pictures for evidence,

I've told them all the ports of the station are not working, and I sent them a picture that shows the usb port is not providing power. They told me this, "Do you want the hub to be powered on when it is not plugged into the computer, and then the USB port will supply power to other devices? If this is the case, it is absolutely impossible to achieve. The hub needs to be plugged into the computer to start the hub."

1. I know this is wrong, the usb will supply power regardless if the computer is plugged or not based on my previous experience.
2. I've sent them a picture that shows usb has no power while the computer is plugged, so they didn't even look at the picture.

So, I re-bought a new one just to pop their lie. And check the photo I attached, see how they claim that the usb won't supply power when the computer is not plugged in. And the second picture shows the new one I got works exactly unlike how they said!

Spent days with the custom service, and based on the conversation, I can assure you when a problem happens, they are just trying to find excuses and hold you off until you give up.
I don't remember when was the last time I'm writing a complaint, but this seller is so far the worst I spoke with on Amazon. Waited tons of my time and found out they just trick you up.
