I wasn't sure what to expect from this 5000mAh Magnetic Battery Pack from Baseus, since my previous experience with another off-brand magnetic power bank was a bit so-so. Thankfully, this power bank has been performing really nicely and I have not faced any of the issues I had with the other model.

First off, this power bank is nice and slim and quite light. My previous pack was 10,000mAh, and while it had double the capacity, just felt like a brick strapped to the back of my phone! This Baseus battery feels really natural attached to my phone and not overly bulky. Since the edges are curved and contoured in, it feels nice in the hand. The magnets on the back of the pack snap really securely to my MagSafe OtterBox case and the battery doesn't feel like it's going anywhere.

Build quality aside, another thing I like about this battery pack is how cool it is to the touch when it is charging & discharging. My previous pack got REALLY warm when charging and it felt like a space heater when it was connected to my phone. Thankfully, this Baseus model does not have that issue and runs cool to the touch.

Like I mentioned, the pack is nicely curved on the edges and the exterior is smooth plastic, so the entire pack and phone slip in and out of pockets and bags easily. The power button and charge indicator lights are located on the bottom of the unit which ensures you don't accidentally turn the battery off by bumping a button (something I was constantly doing on my old pack). The only charge port is also located on the bottom, a USB-C port. While I do wish there was another full-size USB-A port included, it's not a dealbreaker for me.

All in all, I think this is a very nicely thought-out magnetic charger and I've been much happier with it than my previous model. While the capacity is a bit lower than the competition, I think the slim build and form factor more than make up for it. I'm also very happy with the current asking price and think that $30 is a very fair price for such a capable pack.

This is a really good product reputable brand that will get your phone charged at least once. It is dependable when needed and doesn’t fail again the brand he is very important as it’s a Reputable brand.

The quality of the product is outstanding and will last really long time as I have my old model for three years with no issues To date. It’s made of sturdy plastic, but not something that will break easily. For people who go in their purse or the book bag or briefcase

It turned my iPhone 13 into a turtle! Not really, it's not that bad. This charger is a bit on the beefier side though so it's worth considering your phone size and relative dimensions before picking up. Outside of that, it's been working great. 5000mAh isn't a ton of power, but it's absolutely sufficient for most use cases. The magsafe element snaps pretty well to my phone, I'm not afraid of losing it or dropping it with casual use cases. As I understand Baseus is one of the more trusted this-niche technology brands, and I'm not finding the experience to tell me any differently. As far as charging, it does so faster than a couple of my other devices, but not as quickly as those tethered with lightning.

I do feel a little like the portability as shown in the video a bit exaggerated, it does feel bulky and kind of heavy in my lady pockets, but absolutely sized comfortably for a small bag. Not bad at all.
