The capacity reduction during charging is due to a 30% to 45% energy loss in the battery cells and conversion circuitry. Therefore, a fully charged Anker Nano Power Bank offers an estimated 2,750mAh to 3,500mAh to power devices.

How can I estimate the number of charges for my device?

To estimate charging cycles, use this formula:

(Power Bank Capacity × 0.65) ÷ Device Battery Capacity ≈ Number of Charges.

For instance, charging a 3,000mAh device using a 5,000mAh power bank would offer approximately 1.08 charges.

Love these small iPhone chargers

We bought 2 of these around Christmas time, one for each of our teen sons who have iPhones. They are so easy to charge, and super portable. My kids mostly use them to get through the school day. But one kid still prefers to use his Anker charger for at-home charging too. Just because it's easier for him to use his phone while charging with the Anker, and not have to worry about a cord and dragging a separate battery around. Now one of the chargers just stopped charging about 9 months after they were purchased. I was pretty bummed, but I went to the Anker website, filled out the warranty/purchase info, described the problem, and included a picture of the charger, plus the teeny tiny serial number from it. And within a few days they responded that they were send me a new replacement. Now that's customer service right there! Which is why I prefer to buy name brand products like this, rather than ultra cheap electronic accessories from never-heard-of Chinese companies.

I am not deducting a star because there is nothing wrong with the product. However, please do be aware that my Otterbox case is too thick for the plug. It does work if I hold it against the phone, but it does not stay plugged in by itself. If you don’t have a thick case, this might be great for you since it doesn’t require an additional cord.

I thought this charger worked great, if not better than I expected.

It’s super portable, easy to charge, and easily charged my iPhone 13 fully.

But, I dropped it once while it was attached to my phone, and the dongle snapped. It was still attached but after a week or so, it stopped working altogether.

If you’re clumsy and occasionally drop your phone like me, you may want to consider a different product.

The portability of this device was the reason I bought it, It is small and compact which means it is great for work or when running errands.

it worked amazingly, up until a few weeks ago, then it stopped working completely.

Doesn’t work when directly plugged in or when using a usb c to lightning cable. So now it’s pretty much no use to me, which is unfortunate since it was so handy to have in my bag.
