Anker Power Bank has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh. Due to efficiency losses in the conversion circuit, its rated capacity at 5V is about 3,000mAh. Therefore, it is normal for the product to lose about 3% of power per minute during use.

Why is my power bank providing fewer charges than expected?

The capacity reduction during charging is due to a 30% to 45% energy loss in the battery cells and conversion circuitry. Therefore, a fully charged 5,000mAh Anker Power Bank offers an estimated 2,750mAh to 3,500mAh to power devices.

In power bank mode, it can fully charge an iPhone 13 once, provide about 0.9 charges for iPhone 14/15, about 0.8 charges for Samsung S23, and about 0.7 charges for S23 Ultra.

I bought this thinking it would be convenient compared to a normal charger since this one can plug into the wall. I wasn't exactly wrong since I can just find an outlet and don't need a cord on hand in order to recharge it. My only complaints are that it's a little cumbersome to hold due to the size and that it doesn't seem to hold a charge very well. It can only charge my phone about 2 times depending on the percentage I end it on before it dies and I have to plug it in again. If it could hold more of a charge without needing more juice then I'd have given it 5 stars despite the slight annoyance due to the size.

Literally you could charge your phone with this thing and then it will charge the battery when the phone is charged. Depends on the phone battery size of course but this will charge my Samsung S23 phone from about 40% to 100% twice before you have to recharge the battery pack.
