For optimal wireless charging, we recommend using Apple's official magnetic cases. Avoid cases over 2.5 mm thick, non-magnetic, or metal cases, and remove any magnets, cards, or pop grips as they interfere with charging.

Why doesn't my phone achieve 15W wireless charging power, and why is the charging circle not displayed?

Ensure your iPhone 12 runs iOS 17.4 or later, and iPhone 13 or later has iOS 17.2 for optimal charging and display; this power bank is not Android-compatible. If the USB-C port is charging a device, wireless charging output will be reduced to 5W.

The Anker MagGo Power Bank has a top notch design, with a flick out stand that's great for propping up your phone. It also has a useful screen to keep track of how much power is left, and a 15-W MagSafe connection that provides a reasonably fast recharge rate, and supports full-speed wireless charging for iPhones. It's bulky, but I could put it in my pocket (without my iPhone). Comes in different colors. If you are looking for something smaller and don't mind wire-charging, go with Anker PowerCore 10000 PD Redux.

I kept seeing TikTok ads for another similar Anker power bank and got this one instead. Anyway, I'm actually surprised with how much I've been using this power bank. Since it's MagSafe-compatible and charges with USB-C, it's super easy to use without carrying around a bunch of cables. It isn't the lightest (and is therefore not super comfortable to hold with your phone for long periods of time, if you're not in a position to use the stand), but it is light in comparison to other power banks with comparable capacities. That is, I've never had it run out of power before I had a chance to charge it, it isn't a hassle to carry around, and I use it most days. Even when I'm just at home, it's helpful to have nearby because I'm not always close enough to a charger but want to keep using my phone without getting up. 😁

UPDATE - Anker reached out to me and refunded my purchase on this item, which was an incredibly kind gesture. I have increased the star rating due to their incredible customer support. The rest of the original review is below.

I use the Anker MagGo Power Bank for two purposes. First, it sits beside my bed and acts as my over-night charger for my iPhone 14 Pro. For this, I keep the MagGo Power Bank plugged in. Second, I use it as an "on the go" battery when travelling or away from home. The Anker MagGo Power Bank was clearly designed for these two purposes. After all, it does have a little kickstand.

Here is the major issue - the wireless charging is super flakey. When coming to bed at night, I drop my phone on the magnetic charger and it does nothing. So I try again, and nothing happens. Now I have to start messing with the charger to get it to "align" poperly. Still nothing happens. Finally, I unplug the charger and start really messing with it. Eventually it starts to charge. I then plug it back in and try to go to sleep, but my wife is now yelling at me for waking her up.

This repeats every single night. You might be thinking "but your iPhone case is too thick." Nope, I use a slim case made by Apple themselves. Frankly I think this is some sort of bug in the magnetic charging system. When it works right, it works really well. Unfortunately, that is really rare. Once you do get it working, it seems to work just fine, like nothing is wrong. It's completely bizarre.

I can say that when it does charge, it charges very quickly. The battery also has a nice, large capacity. The MagGo Power Bank is heavy though. It's much heavier than my older Anker 10,000 mAh battery.

This is the 2nd power bank that I bought - the first one charged my phone overnight but stopped at 80%. Could not go any farther. So I returned it. This one got great reviews, and I love it. Here are the reasons I like it - - the stand is great. I remove my (thick) case to use the magnet feature but don't mind, and it charges fast! All the way to 100%. I probably could get 2 to 2.5 charges before having to plug the power bank back in. Cons: A big weighty but who cares if it powers your phone quickly. Also does not have a USB port. I'm going to bring an adapter with me when I travel abroad to have options. Otherwise, this is a great power bank for the money. Love the status window that shows me how much juice is left in the power bank.

This is a great product. Compared to my other 10kmAh power banks, this is compact. The stand works great, and the lcd screen is cool. Not sure how accurate the upload time is because I keep seeing it fluctuating. If I’m charging my phone from 10% power left, the power bank uses quite a bit of power to fast charge. It uses about 35% to get my phone up to 50%.

Excellent quality and 15W wireless charging speeds are a significant improvement to previous models that could charge at 7.5W. The screen showing the % and the kickstand is also very helpful. This is by far the best power bank for iPhones. My wife used it during a flight to watch Netflix while simultaneously charging her iPhone 15 Pro Max. After 2 hours, she had a higher charging percentage. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This has to be one of the most useful things I purchased for my phone.
The battery has a great charging capabilities and will juice up my phone multiple times. The screen display is awesome and I like how it shows how much run time is left.
The kickstand appears weak but is quite durable and sturdy. It’s very useful for watching videos in landscape mode.
The only downside is that it’s a little bulky/ heavy, but I find it acts as a great grip for my phone. Would definitely recommend.

La charge suivant la nouvelle norme QI2 (inspiré et compatible MagSafe) permet de gagner une efficacité de charge très impresionnante. Sans avoir mesuré précisément, le temp de charge et quasiment réduit de moitié. Et le phénomène de chauffe est réduit.
L’écran latéral est utile sans être indispensable (l’ancien modèle présentait des diodes et cela suffisait).
Le pied permets de tenir l’appareil debout mais cela reste à utiliser occasionnellement car il paraît un peu faible.
Produit à recommander pour une charge rapide en mobilité.
Mon iPhone 15 Pro Max est rechargé 1.5 fois environ.
