Kathryn Newton begins a killer romance with Cole Sprouse's handsome Victorian corpse in the first full-length trailer for Diablo Cody's upcoming flick, Lisa Frankenstein. Set in the 1980s, the coming-of-rage horror comedy follows Newton's Lisa, a misunderstood high school teenager who unwittingly revives Sprouse's character from the afterlife. The two then embark on a bloody journey to find love, happiness, and a few missing body parts. Penned by Cody and directed by Zelda Williams in her feature directorial debut, the film also stars Liza Soberano, Carla Gugino, and Joe Chrest. "I can't believe you're here," Lisa says to her new companion, before playing him some of the Cure and reducing him to tears — and apparently the tears of the undead smell awfully bad. A murderous rampage ensues, leading to trouble with the law. But Lisa's got her priorities in order: "I could get the clink for life or the electric chair, but I don't wanna die a virgin." But it's also finally letting me make the most bonkers, wonderful zombie script I've ever read, and for that, I will be forever grateful!" Lisa Frankenstein hits theaters Feb. 9.
