In total, the tour attracted 3.54 million fans, with each show grossing $4.79 million (£2.95 million). It visited 32 countries: Wales, France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, England, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Montenegro, Greece, USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Belgium, Norway, Russia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Israel.

Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour is the second-highest-grossing tour by a female artist, raking in $345.7 million (£269.4 million) between 8 May and 21 November 2018.

Ed Sheeran (÷ Tour, 2017–present) and Roger Waters (The Wall Live, 2010–13) are the only two solo artists with higher-grossing concert tours than Madonna.

The Sticky & Sweet set list included "Candy Shop", "Vogue", "Into the Groove", "Holiday", "Music", "La Isla Bonita", "4 Minutes", "Like a Prayer", "Frozen", "Ray of Light" and "Give It 2 Me".

The tour was Madonna's first under a $120-million (then £58-million), 10-year contract she signed with Live Nation in October 2007. The MDNA Tour (2012) grossed $305.1 million (£187.9 million) from 88 shows to become – at that time – the second-highest-grossing tour by a female. Her Rebel Heart Tour (2015–16) grossed $169.8 million (£117.2 million) from 82 shows.
