Spookley Celebrates Easter with New Shorts on Disney Junior
Iconic holiday gourd Spookley the Square Pumpkin is reuniting with his Holiday Hill Farm friends for two colorful new shorts celebrating Easter. A puppet variety show and animated music video will hatch on Disney Junior and digital outlets this weekend.
In the 12-minute live-action/puppet special The Spookley Easter Show, the festive friends present an Easter-themed variety show. Backstage they busily prepare for the Holiday Hill Farm egg decorating contest as Spookley helps figure out how to pick a contest winner without hurting anyone’s feelings.
The Easter Show debuts April 8 on DisneyNOW and on the official Spookley the Square Pumpkin YouTube channel.
What a Colorful Day
Plus, the two-minute animated music video What a Colorful Day stars Spookley and his new pal JellyBean the Easter Chick as they harmonize about the beautiful Spring colors in full bloom on Holiday Hill Farm.
What a Colorful Day begins airing in rotation on Disney Junior on April 8 and will be available the same day on the Disney Junior YouTube and DisneyNOW, joining the Spookley YouTube channel on April 10.
These new shorts are the latest in a series of Holiday Hill Farm celebrations that began with Halloween (2021) and that will continue to roll out throughout the year. Also in the works is a new 45-minute Holiday Hill Farm animated holiday special, Spookley and the Unbreakable Egg, that will feature Spookley and JellyBean.
