High wind warning issued for parts of SoCal amid strong winds
A high wind warning is in effect through Saturday afternoon for parts of Southern California as strong winds blow across the region.
Saturday morning, a large tree was knocked over and blocking the road in Arcadia. Another tree was knocked down by the strong winds in Van Nuys. A house in Monrovia was damaged by powerful winds in the San Gabriel Valley area.
High winds have diminished in much of the Bay Area, leaving temperatures more than 20 degrees warmer than the morning before. Overall, temperatures will remain above average for this time of year.
