Based on the award-winning graphic novel series by Mike Maihack, Cleopatra in Space is a new animated series premiering on Peacock today, Jan. 14.
Cleopatra’s legacy has stood the test of time, but have you ever wondered what her teenage years were like? In this comedic adventure, viewers follow Cleo as she’s transported 30,000 years into the future.
She’ll land herself on an Egyptian-themed planet, only on this one, she isn’t in charge. Yet. Here, talking cats are the ruling class. But Cleo will soon discover she is the prophesied savior of the future world.
She’s not quite ready to rule yet, however. First, she will attend an elite academy where she trains to take on bad guys. And she’ll also want to figure out how to make it home to the 50s BCE. In the meantime, she’ll just have to learn how to deal with the highs and lows of being a teenager in high school.
