FEUD KICKS OFF

Vinnie Jones pulls out of charity Covid football game over arch nemesis Tamer Hassan

THERE’S nothing quite like a good celebrity feud to top off the year.

But the one that’s exploded again between football hardman Vinnie Jones and EastEnders actor Tamer Hassan is so old I’m surprised either of them remember it.

Vinnie was due to play in a charity football game, Covaid, next Sunday to help raise cash for those affected by the pandemic.

But with just days to go he’s sensationally pulled the plug after learning the organisers had drafted in Tamer.

And his issue with the ageing actor? A punch-up that dates back a decade.

An insider said: “Vinnie was all geared up to play in Covaid. It’s a great line-up of players with Sam Allardyce and Harry Redknapp coaching the two sides.

“But a few days ago he was told Tamer had also signed up and Vinnie wasn’t having it.

“He said he couldn’t play with Tamer and recalled their bust-up back in 2010.”

The pair had been preparing to work on a new film together in the US called Bloodout but just before filming they had a massive fight, leaving them both bloodied and bruised.

Now I’m told the match, raising funds for Covid charity Mask Our Heroes, has brought their ill feelings to the surface again and Vinnie has refused to take part if Tamer is involved.

The game, which will see players including Emile Heskey, Wayne Bridge and Bobby Zamora having a run out is being hosted at Chelmsford City stadium and fans can stream the game live for a fiver or pay £29 to watch it at the ground on Sunday.

It’s a real shame Vinnie can’t put this behind him and just get involved.

Time to build a bridge now, lads.

Amanda’s drive with Collabro

Amanda Holden teamed up with Sheridan Smith on her debut album, which has become the biggest selling and highest charting female debut record of 2020.

But for the follow-up to Songs From My Heart, the Britain’s Got Talent judge is planning a collaboration even closer to home – as it’s with one of the show’s biggest winners.

Amanda, who flashed her long legs in tiny denim shorts for this exclusive snap, will perform her new festive song Home For Christmas with 2014 winners Collabro on the BGT Christmas special.

And she is already planning on getting into the studio with the four-piece in the New Year.

Speaking about the performance, she said: “Those boys are so talented. It’s such a good partnership. I wish they were on my actual single, Home For Christmas, they’re so good.”

Amanda added: “I can see going forward we may do something together because it just felt so right.

“Who knows what next year will bring?”

Given her success this year, there will be no shortage of offers when it comes to other musical companions, too.

Golden era for glowing Gaga

Lady Gaga’s life is as golden as her tan right now.

While the rest of us are wrapping up, she stripped topless and posed in just a pair of nude pants.

The US pop star’s make-up brand Haus Laboratories posted the snap on Instagram and wrote: “The weather may be getting colder, but we’re heating things up a bit.”

The past 12 months have been triumphant for the Rain On Me singer, with the release of her sixth studio album Chromatica which went to No1 on both sides of the Atlantic.

And 2021 looks like Gaga’s busiest yet, as she prepares for a tour and her first film role since the release of A Star Is Born in 2018, which won her a Best Original Song Oscar for Shallow.

She will star alongside Jeremy Irons in Ridley Scott’s crime drama Gucci.

Becky shines on new single

British singer Becky Hill looks all wrapped up and ready for Christmas in this glittering mini-dress.

She has given me an exclusive preview of the official video for her new single Forever Young, which will go live later today.

A cover of Alphaville’s 1984 song, it features in the McDonald’s festive advert.

After six years in the charts, she will finally release her debut album in 2021 .

She has already notched 707million Spotify streams this year. That gives me plenty of hope for what comes next.

160,000 at Lou's O2 'gigs'

Louis Tomlinson had to postpone his world tour due to coronavirus – but he still managed to play the equivalent of eight nights at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday.

His Live from London live-streamed concert sold an eye-watering 160,000 tickets globally, a figure only beaten by BTS and Dua Lipa for such shows this year.

Thanking his fans, he said: “That was incredible. Thank you to everyone that watched. Can’t wait to finally get back on the road.”

The former One Direction star’s debut album Walls came out in January and he’s now hoping to get back on stage for proper concerts in February.

As great as these livestream shows are, I can’t wait to be back at a real gig so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Real spit in punk film

The crew working on new Sex Pistols biopic Only Anarchists Are Pretty have gone above and beyond to ensure it is realistic.

I’ve been told filmmakers have created special effects “spit rigs” to safely recreate the trend of “punk rock gobbing”, where fans spat at frontman Johnny Rotten and bandmates on stage in the 70s.

A film insider explained: “They are large plastic screens which are put in front of the actors playing the fans, so they can spit without it touching anyone.

“They won’t be seen on screen as they will be removed as part of the special effects. It’s all for health and safety – everyone is taking it very seriously.”

Gross, but absolute genius at the same time.
