GLOW season 1 was a huge success for Netflix, and inevitably this was going to happen. GLOW Funko Pops are on the way this June. To start, we get Ruth Wilder as Zoya the Destroya and Debbie Egan as Liberty Belle — the wrestling personas of series stars Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin respectively.
Enter the world of glitter and spandex with the
Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling also known as GLOW!Collect arch rivals Ruth Wilder as Zoya the Destroya and
Debbie Eagan as Liberty Belle now as Pop!Don’t forget to watch A Netflix Original Series GLOW – now streaming!
Both figures look amazing. One wonders how long we will have to wait for more of these, since the ensemble features so many standout characters. Carmen, Cherry, Stacey, Arthie — Sheila the She-Wolf is a must. And come on, I have needed a Marc Maron Funko Pop in my life for years now, and we finally have a chance to get one. Don’t fail me now, Funko.
That is, unless you are also going to start a “Famous Podcasters” line. However I have to get my hands on it, I need a Marc Maron Funko Pop. Heck, we could even get a Pop of George Murdoch, aka Brodus Clay in the WWE, who helped with the wrestling and appeared on the show as Mighty Tom Jackson a couple times. We know from the success of the WWE Pops and the upcoming Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes figures that the appetite for wrestling Pops outside WWE is there. This show is perfect for that. Blow it out, guys and gals (and I don’t just mean the hair)!
These again will be hitting in June. Season 2 of the show could be out as soon as this fall. If you are so inclined, you can preorder them now right here, and also right here.
