The End of the F***ing World might have run out of official source material, but that doesn't mean that a second series is out of reach.
Addressing the chances of picking up where we (dramatically) left off, Alex Lawther – who plays James in the show – said that we'll just have to wait and see.
"Well, we don't know," he told JÓN magazine. "It was based on a comic book series by Charles Forsman and the comics end where our episodes end."

Adding that a second outing would let writer Charlie Covell make the series her own, he said: "It would give [her]...a chance to explore something from her imagination...
"I would be very excited about [that] because I think she's brilliant. So we'll see, basically," he teased.
If you're not convinced that a second series is necessary (uh, why?), then perhaps the fact that the show is currently boasting a very fresh Rotten Tomatoes rating of 100% might do it.
