Location Managers Awards: The Complete Winners List

'The Revenant,' 'Sicario,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Sense 8' receive honors.

The Revenant and Sicario topped the feature categories at the Location Managers Guild International's (formerly the Location Managers Guild of America) third annual awards, which were presented Saturday at the.Alex Theatre in Glendale.

The Revenant was recognized in the category for a period film while Sicario earned the award for a contemporary film.

In the television competition, Game of Thrones topped the category for a period television series and Sense8 won the category for a contemporary TV series. Chevy's "Anthem" earned the prize for outstanding locations in a commercial.

FilmLA was honored as outstanding film commission.

Director Michael Mann presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to supervising location manager Janice Polley, whose credits include Mann's Collateral.

Teamsters Local 399 head Steve Dayan (City of Angels, Volcano) received the Trailblazer Award from California Film Commission executive director Amy Lemisch and location manager Ilt Jones.

Tony Revolori honored his Grand Budapest Hotel director Wes Anderson with the Eva Monley Award, which was accepted by the film's Jeff Goldblum. Amy Brenneman and Brad Silberling received the LMGI’s Humanitarian Award.

Presenters included Christopher Guest, Melanie Mayron, Milana Vayntrub, Jillian Armenante and AFCI executive director Kevin Clark. Location manager David Doumeng served as host.
