TORONTO (November 1, 2017) – Comprehensive and candid, Fridays on Much is the home of ICONS, a new weekly anthology series of artist-focused documentaries and performance specials. Headlining Friday nights in the 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT timeslot beginning November 17, ICONS showcases prominent Canadian and international music artists, including The Tragically Hip, Whitney Houston, Harry Styles, The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, Bruce Springsteen, Sam Smith, and more.

Joining VICE NEWS TONIGHT, SOUTH PARK, SIDES*, and more on Much’s stellar fall lineup, ICONS adds to the strong topical programming and entertaining content that Much delivers to its audience. Since the launch of the fall schedule this September, Much’s full-day audience has grown by 18% in the key Adults 18-49 demo, while primetime has grown by a massive 50% with total viewers.

Additional specials in the queue for the anthology series include MURDER RAP: INSIDE THE BIGGIE & TUPAC MURDER, WHITNEY: CAN I BE ME, and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: IN HIS OWN WORDS, with more titles still to be announced including artists Harry Styles and Sam Smith.
