Luis Miguel's story is coming to the small screen very soon. Coproduced by Gato Grande Productions and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc (MGM), the new series, which already has a first screen deal with both Netflix and Telemundo, has official began shooting.

The show stars Mexican actor and singer Diego Boneta as Luis Miguel, and he'll be joined by other prominent figures like Camila Sodi, who's giving life to Luis Miguel's love; Oscar Jaenada as his father and Paulina Dávila as his first girlfriend.

In addition, Juan Pablo Zurita, one of the most important influencers in Latin America, will play Alex, Luis Miguel's brother. The cast is completed by Argentine actor César Bordón as Hugo López, Vanessa Bauche as press director Rosy Esquivel, and Andrés Almeida as accountant Armando Serna.

The series will premiere exclusively on Netflix in Latin America and Spain and in the US and Puerto Rico on Telemundo.
Meanwhile, Chile's Canal 13 was one of the first broadcasters to confirm the acquisition of the series, which was distributed internationally by MGM.

The premiere is scheduled for 2018.
