Nick Blood will reprise his role as former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Lance Hunter when “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” returns to ABC for Season 5.

Carson's episode will air on Disney XD September 16!

Disney Channel “Descendants 2” star Sofia Carson will take on another super villain’s offspring role when she guest stars on “Marvel’s Spider-Man.” Carson will voice Keemia, the estranged daughter of Flint Marko aka Sandman. The episode will premiere next Saturday, September 16 at 7:00 AM ET on Disney XD!

Keemia meets Spider-Man in Marvel’s Spider-Man

In addition to possessing super powers like her father, Keemia can be best described as smart, cunning and vengeful. In the episode appropriately titled “Sandman,” Spidey meets the powerful, yet uncontrollable Sandman and helps him reunite with his estranged daughter with the help of the Venom symbiote.

Program includes animated shorts, chapter books and expanded line of merchandise debuting this Fall!

Little True Belivers, this one’s for you! Starting this Fall, we’re gearing up for the brand new school year with “Marvel Super Hero Adventures” – a multi-platform content program targeting Marvel’s youngest fans through animation and publishing. Through stories that touch upon aspirational themes of friendship, helping others, and heroism, preschool kids and young readers will have a gateway into the Marvel Universe. This new program will be supported by new offerings across comic books, graphic novels and merchandise including toys, lifestyle and apparel.

Marvel Animation will launch a season of 10 short-form episodes for the pre-school audience. The 3.5 minute animated episodes will feature Spidey in an epic team-up with other inspiring and brave Marvel heroes like Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Wasp, Ms. Marvel and more. Platforms and launch date for this short-form series will be announced at a later date.

Debuting in September will be a series of early-reader chapter books joining the existing line of popular Marvel Super Hero Adventures activity books and storybooks from Marvel Press. The first chapter book, “Deck the Malls!,” written by MacKenzie Cadenhead and Sean Ryan, illustrated by Derek Laufman, features Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen in a fully illustrated adventured with a bonus one-page comic. Three more chapter books and an expanding publishing program will continue through 2018 and beyond.

The Super Hero Adventures merchandise is led by a toy collaboration with Hasbro, featuring new character tie-ins and play experiences inspired by Marvel Animation. They’re a perfect way for preschoolers to celebrate their young passion for Marvel in their daily lives. Further merchandise rollouts include wide offerings across toys and apparel with supportive collaborations from Mad Engine, Jay Fanco, GBG, Jakks Pacific and others–all representative of the major categories for Marvel preschoolers. Additional Marvel Super Hero Adventures products will debut throughout October during Marvel Mania, Marvel’s celebratory campaign spanning marquee retailers including Walmart, Target, Toys R Us and more.

Parents and fans around the world can share the Marvel Super Heroes Adventure program with young fans as it expands even more in Spring 2018.

Series returns to Netflix in 2018!

Misty Knight just got an upgrade – a bionic one at that. Disney star Cameron Boyce guest stars as Herman Schultz on 'Marvel's Spider-Man'!

Who is Herman Schultz? Disney star Cameron Boyce (“Descendants”) talks about his role in the new episode of “Marvel’s Spider-Man,” airing this Saturday at 7:00 AM ET/PT on Disney XD, in a new featurette above.

In Saturday’s episode titled “Osborn Academy,” Herman is a young scientist who “gets in over his head,” according to Boyce. Watch a brand new clip below!

Also new to Disney XD, “Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars” will air brand new episodes as part of the “All New, All Different Avengers” story arc starting at 11:00 AM ET/PT this Saturday! Aghdashloo joins the upcoming Netflix series.

Academy Award nominated actress Shohreh Aghdashloo has a role in “Marvel’s The Punisher.”

Aghdashloo will play Farah Madini on the upcoming Netflix series. Farah is an Iranian by birth who has lived most of her life in the US, establishing a successful practice as a psychiatrist, while her daughter, Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah), is a skilled Homeland Security agent.

This is the second time Aghdashloo and Revah have played mother and daughter – they previously worked together in 2009’s “House of Saddam,” which Aghdashloo won an Emmy for. That project also teamed them with producer Steve Lightfoot, who is now serving as showrunner on “Marvel’s The Punisher.” Aghdashloo was nominated for an Oscar for “House of Sand and Fog,” while her other credits include “24,” “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “The Expanse.”

Lightfoot (“Hannibal”) wrote the series’ first two episodes in addition to serving as showrunner and Executive Producer. Jim Chory (“Marvel’s Daredevil,” “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” and “Marvel’s Luke Cage”) will also serve as Executive Producer along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Daredevil,” “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” and “Marvel’s Luke Cage”), Marvel’s Head of Television.

“Marvel’s The Punisher” is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. The series will debut later in 2017.

With the debut of “The Gifted” approaching in October, four new posters have been released spotlighting some of the mutants you’ll meet in the upcoming FOX series.
