Celtic manager defends his faith in staying true to attacking ways
It is startling to consider that in one-and-a-half Champions League campaigns Celtic have had six games against Barcelona, Manchester City, PSG and Bayern Munich and conceded 21 goals. Nature notes
Badgers are beginning to make their setts warm and comfortable for the winter by taking in dead leaves and bracken to sleep among. Many of the setts are ancient, with a maze of tunnels and chambers. The badgers live in clans, with a dominant male and female and some grown-up offspring. They all gather in a single chamber on a very cold night. When they come out they dig up worms or roots to feed on and attack young rabbits. Rabbits are very abundant at the moment, because the does have been producing infants in large litters since early spring. The does have a respite from breeding now for three or four months, and the rabbits will be quickly reduced in number — not just by the badgers, but also by foxes, weasels and stoats. They are also killed by buzzards, which in recent years have spread out from the north and west, and are now a common sight in the eastern lowlands of England.
