Kesha made a semi-surprise stop at the Coachella festival when she appeared during Zedd's Saturday night slot to perform "True Colors" with the German DJ. The cameo marked the "Tik Tok" singer's most high profile onstage appearance since her lengthy legal battle with producer Dr. Luke sparked the Free Kesha movement.

While Kesha didn't address the rapturous crowd, the lyrics of Zedd's title track off his 2015 LP seemingly spoke on behalf of the singer. "It's time to light the flame, right before it rains. I'm not afraid, I'm not," Kesha sang. "I won't apologize for the fire in my eyes. Let me show you my true colors. It ain't no rainbow."

Zedd teased early Saturday that he had "something big planned" during his Coachella set, a surprise that was spoiled thanks to both TMZ and Kesha's Instagram. Zedd was among the first artists to show support and even offer his services during Kesha's ongoing legal ordeal.

"Very very sorry to hear about your whole situation," he tweeted to Kesha after a judge denied the singer's injunction against Dr. Luke, who she claims sexually abused her. "I'll be happy to produce a song for you if you want my help."

Thank you Coachella. Thank you Kesha. This was special.
