Following the news that all three of Rory’s ex-boyfriends will return for Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival, there’s another man returning to Rory’s life: Her father.
EW has confirmed that David Sutcliffe will reprise his role as Christopher, Rory’s father, Lorelai’s ex-husband, and a lover of flat-screen televisions. There’s no word yet on how many of the episodes he’ll appear in — the series consists of four 90-minute episodes — but we know that his quick wit will live another day.

Sutcliffe joins other returning cast members Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, Milo Ventimiglia, Yanic Truesdale, Jared Padalecki, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, and new cast member Sutton Foster.
