Yousician is basically a scrolling tab. The rocksmith display is a mess that is difficult to read especially when there are note far a part of the fret board as the display has to stretch to show them

I got Rocksmith at the end of last year. I like it so far although I hate the note highway and wish they had a better way of viewing the notes. I've used yousician for close to 2 years and I think yousician is better for building a consistent skill level however Rocksmith benefits it having actual songs whereas everything on yousician is proprietary.

That's right. The artificial colourong doesn't really effect the flavour negatively but then again it's only really used in tequilas that are bad quality to begin with. Also fyi "riping" is not a word, aging is what you mean.

Reposado is part of how the product is legally defined. Gold and silver are just marketing terms. Gold is often used to imply that something is a reposado when it can't be legally labelled as such. Typically the difference between Gold and Silver tequilas is nothing more than colouring

The practice till you can't play it wrong idea definitely works. At my first gig I had a couple of those moments where you freeze and can't think what to do but my fingers/hands were already doing it from muscle memory.

What you are talking about is a skill in itself so it's going to take a few attempts playing on frony of people etc before you feel comfortable. My advice is play in front of people as much as possible to get used to it.

I essentially stopped using last.fm after the beta relaunch but I still had the scrobbler going in the back ground. I finally started looking at the site again a few weeks ago and it looks like things are finally coming together again. Time will tell but hopefully if they fix the things they broke then the community will start to regrow.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I appreciate that you could convert an existing bass for this purpose. Why question was whether basses exist that are pre-made for lower than standard tunings. If not, why not? As I pointed out there is an obvious market for it. After all you could make the same point for guitar yet baritone guitars exist.

You may never feel comfortable so you're better diving in as soon as possible. If nothing else a jam session is a good way to identify your biggest weaknesses.

If the drummer and guitarist are any good they should be able to accommodate your current level of experience.

How loose is the jam going to be? If you are working on a cover for example that gives you something solid to base your preparation on, otherwise just take it as it comes.

If you treat craft beer mote like wine i.e. a stronger drink to be enjoyed slowly it lasts you fine over long periods. You can also get sessions craft beers which are weaker. Personally I drink for taste so having large volumes of cheap beer for drinking games isn't something I worry about.
