Fortune has announced a number of personnel changes: Minyanville deputy editor Megan Barnett was named deputy managing editor, Paul Smalera was appointed senior editor, 9to5Mac founder Seth Weintraub will lead the "Google 24/7" blog, Shelley DuBois was named writer-reporter, JP Mangalindan was appointed as a tech reporter, and Scott Olster was named associate editor at Fortune.com.

Details announced a pair of promotions: market editor Eugene Tong was named senior style editor and Matthew Marden was elevated to market director from senior market editor.

Meredith Corp. has promoted Maria Cristina Marrero to editor-in-chief of Siempre Mujer. Marrero had served as executive editor since October 2008.

Bonnier Corp. named Brian Israel executive travel director for Saveur. Israel most recently served as travel manager at Condé Nast’s Bon Appétit.

The Hollywood Reporter named Lori Burgess as publisher. Most recently, Burgess served as publisher of OK!, a title she held since October 2008. Before that, she served as vice president and publishing director at Niche Media.

Meanwhile, OK! says it has promoted Eastern advertising director Mary Beth Wright to associate publisher. Prior to joining OK!, Wright served as publisher at Disney's FamilyFun. In addition, Natalie Mattera, previously New York account director, was promoted to advertising director.

Playboy Enterprises appointed Christopher M. Pachler executive vice president and CFO. Pachler currently serves as senior vice president of strategy and operations at Sony Pictures. His appointment is effective May 24.

Future US has announced a pair of personnel changes: George Jones was named editor-in-chief of Maximum PC Magazine and Jane Evans was appointed national sales director of technology media.

Alex Weprin was named co-editor of mediabistro.com's TVNewser and editor of WebNewser. Previously, Weprin served as a reporter and online editor at Broadcasting & Cable.

BPA Worldwide named Stacy Whisel to its Interactive Advisory Board. Whisel serves as vice president of strategic media programs at b-to-b marketing agency Godfrey.
