Silent Hills' future is up in the air, but we're still trying to figure out P.T.
Ever since the surprising rumors that creator Hideo Kojima may be leaving Konami following the release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, it's unclear if the recently-revealed Silent Hills is still coming or not. That's a real bummer. But what about P.T., the bizarre and awesome free short game that Konami released to tease Silent Hills.
Have we figured out everything there is to know about P.T.? Or is there more yet to learn?
According to Silent Hill-centered YouTube channel The Grate Debate, there are some startling mysteries still haunting this creepy game. In the video above, The Grate Debate digs into the complex story of P.T. to a degree that makes our heads spin.
Watching this 40-minute exploration of P.T.'s plot may leave you with more questions than answers, but it offers some great theories on what's meant by the supernatural happenings in this game's spooky house. And they're going to be doing a podcast about the game's symbolism soon as well.
For more on P.T., check out our explanation of why it made our Game of the Year list for 2014, or watch us get stuck for ourselves in the video below.
