Orange Is The New Black‘s recurring player Uzo Aduba, who plays fan favorite Crazy Eyes, has been made a series regular for the second season of the Netflix/Lionsgate comedic drama. This marks the first series regular role for the Broadway actress, repped by Joan Sittenfield Management. Coming off a strong first season, Orange has promoted two other recurring players, Taryn Manning and Danielle Brooks.
Steven Culp (Grey’s Anatomy) has landed an arc on the second season of NBC’s post-apocalyptic drama Revolution. He will play clean-cut Edward Truman, a dignified authority figure. Culp is with Domain and Miriam Milgrom Management.
Uzo! So glad to know I’ll be seeing more of Crazy Eyes in season 2 of OITNB. Let the pie-throwing begin!
Uzo is a joy to watch. Her character on this show gives so much. Great decision to up her to a series regular.
Good for her, I only LOVED watching her on OITNB. Lit up the screen whenever she was on.
Great news about Uzo, a real scene stealer. Any news about making other scene stealers Natasha Lyonne, the woman who plays Miss Claudette, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Yael Stone series regulars? I hope so. The show is always elevated when they’re on the screen. Same with Yoga Jones.
Great News for Crazy Eyes, love her role. I am hoping they bring back along with her Pennstucky and her regular Meth Heads. I see many more season for this show.
